Promoting the Expansion of the Technovation Challenge in Spain and Andorra

The consulate general organized a series of events to promote Technovation Challenge, the world’s largest technology entrepreneurship competition for girls, in Spain a Andorra. U.S. speaker Katie Morton from nonprofit Iridescent led a round-table discussion with educators, academics, U.S. tech companies and tech stakeholders from Barcelona to promote the expansion of this American initiative that offers girls around the world the opportunity to learn the skills to emerge as tech entrepreneurs and leaders.  She also led a workshop for high school teachers at American Space Barcelona and delivered a talk to girls and mentors interested in participating in the program at CaixaForum.
