Special Representative Abrams To Discuss Venezuela Crisis With Portuguese and Spanish Officials

Special Representative for Venezuela Elliott Abrams will meet with Portuguese and Spanish officials in Lisbon and Madrid April 9-11 to discuss the deteriorating situation in Venezuela. The United States, Portugal, and Spain support a Venezuelan-led transition toward free and fair elections. The United States is committed to supporting the restoration of democracy in Venezuela, as outlined in their constitution and through the actions of Interim President Juan Guaido and the National Assembly.
