Security Alert – October 24, 2019

Location: Barcelona

Event:  A demonstration is expected today, October 24 at 6:30 pm beginning in Plaza Universidad and moving to Plaza Sant Jaume via Via Laietana. Other spontaneous demonstrations may occur and many have recently taken place in front of government offices.

Similar demonstrations last week turned violent. Dozens of injuries occurred and arrests were made. There is a potential for further clashes during this demonstration.
