PD Intern Monica Palid Presents on Education in the U.S. at IES Mariana Pineda

Public Diplomacy Intern Monica Palid visited IES Mariana Pineda to discuss opportunities to study in the U.S. and the differences between the Spanish school system and the American school system with classes of 14-year-olds and 18-year-olds at this local public high school in Vallecas. The students had many questions about the U.S. university application process, which she was able to answer from personal experience. She also presented on endangered animals in the U.S. and the national park system to a class of 12-year-olds, who were excited to learn more about biodiversity in the U.S.
