Mission Speaker Talks on Presidential Elections to Madrid Public Bilingual Schools

The 2016 presidential election cycle has attracted significant global attention. PD Madrid is offering Mission Speaker talks on the topic to numerous Madrid public bilingual schools. On May 10th Deputy Cultural Attaché Matt Boland at Embassy Madrid addressed an audience of 11th and 12th graders from the IES Cervantes for a presentation on the current electoral process. On May 11th Emilia Puma, the Embassy´s Counselor for Public Diplomacy addressed an audience of 11th grade students at the IES Joaquin Araujo in Fuenlabrada and Political Officer Christopher Carver talked also to high school juniors at the IES Beatriz Galindo in Madrid. Due to the sharp level of global curiosity and excitement surrounding the current campaign for the White House, talks of this nature are particularly helpful in conveying relevant information to young students.
