#GirlsTech Summer Camp at the American Space Barcelona focuses on digital fabrication

During the first two weeks of July, 20 girls from Barcelona learned the basics of robotics and coding. This hands-on workshop introduced them to the world of Digital Fabrication. The #Girlstech Summer camp was co-organized by the consulate general in collaboration with the American Space Barcelona and the Pompeu Fabra University’s Department of Information and Communication Technologies Engineering (ETIC). #Girlstech is the U.S. Mission in Spain’s STEM training program addressed to girls between 9 and 12 years old, that aims to educate and inspire them to pursue opportunities in STEM fields.
