Fulbright Alumni Association’s Homage to Bernardo de Gálvez

CPD Emilia A. Puma participated in the Fulbright Alumni Association’s homage to Bernardo de Gálvez at Casa de América in Madrid. Counselor Puma addressed an audience of 180 people, highlighting the long, shared history of Spain and the U.S., and the relevance today of Bernardo de Gálvez´s values. She said Spanish Fulbright alumni were Gálvez’ heirs and followers, serving as a bridge between the U.S. and Spain, two countries that collaborate in a variety of areas, such as education, culture, commerce, defense and security, and other.
