Experience High Tech with our Girls #Girlstech

We closed Women’s History Month with a visit by GirlsTech program participants to the offices of The Nielsen Company and British Telecommunications. Professionals of the two companies, who also promote activities of women’s leadership through their organizations WINN (Women in Nielsen) and AXLE & CON (Association of Executive and Councilors) went above and beyond to teach these girls some of the most advanced technologies already being used by these companies, which include: virtual reality or eye tracking to study markets, the use of Dolby to improve connectivity, studying customer experience based on using Bluetooth via iBeacon, and many other digital tools. The aim of these visits is to keep in touch with our technological camp participants and inspire and motivate them through this exchange with professional women to continue their technological education, and to want to be the programmers and engineers of the future.
