Eight participants in the “POWERparaEmprendedoras” (Providing Opportunities for Women’s Economic Rise) e-commerce and digital marketing virtual bootcamp sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Madrid and the U.S. Consulate in Barcelona have been awarded with a digital marketing course by ThePowerMBA. The participants were selected after fulfilling the criteria for the competition, including attendance at both sessions of POWER para Emprendedoras on June 29 and July 1, and submitting a video explaining how the course would benefit them and their business. The U.S. Embassy will sponsor their participation in the course. The awardees are:

#POWERparaEmprendedoras was a two-sesssion virtual bootcamp in which experts from U.S. and Spanish companies presented on e-commerce and digital marketing to women entrepreneurs seeking to further develop their businesses. The initiative was created to support the ecosystem of women entrepreneurs building on the success of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs in Spain, a program from the U.S. Department of State that the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Spain have implemented in three cohorts since 2019.
