Demonstration Alert – U.S. Consulate General Barcelona (12 February 2021)
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Event: On Friday, February 12, 2021, a demonstration is scheduled to take place at 11:30am at Plaza Sant Jaume in downtown Barcelona. A political rally is also scheduled to take place at 8:00pm in Plaza Artos in the neighborhood of Sarrià. U.S. citizens should expect traffic disruptions. Please exercise caution in the vicinity of these events as even peaceful protests have the potential to turn violent without any warning.
