Full Radius Dance (FRD), a leading physically-integrated dance company from Atlanta, Georgia visited Spain last May to open the annual performing arts festival “Una mirada diferente,” organized by Centro Dramático Nacional.
Full Radius Dance was founded in 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia, and its members are dancers with and without disabilities. Director Douglas Scott has created a technique that is used in classes, workshops and teacher education. Full Radius Dance’s work, whether in the classroom or on the stage, communicates an awareness and acceptance of the human body and a deep sense of recognition about the power and potential of this body.
Full Radius Dance showcases U.S. dance and advocates disability rights, an inclusive society, and eliminating barriers.
