The Attaché for Economic and Educational Affairs of the U.S. Embassy, Justen Thomas, participated in the closing ceremony of the second phase of the Jump Startup Community, a program for young people sponsored by the U.S. Embassy and implemented by Talento para el Futuro, which promotes entrepreneurial ecosystem following the U.S. success story. The 50 participants of this program presented solutions to the challenges proposed by five institutions: Mancomunidad de Municipios del Alto Tajo, Andalucía Emprende, the Chamber of Commerce of Cáceres, ITAINNOVA, and Las Rozas Innova. During his speech to an audience of entrepreneurs, organizations, and institutions, Justen Thomas encouraged young people to become entrepreneurs, and stated that: “you are one of the engines of the economy. We need your energy and your determination to identify the needs of the market and society and, as you are going to do today, to respond to new challenges”.
