Brooklyn Dancer Storyboard P is Featured at Contemporary Art Museum CA2M during ARCOmadrid 2018, Madrid’s International Contemporary Art Fair

The United States Embassy partnered with the City of Madrid’s public contemporary art museum “Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo” (CA2M) to celebrate Black History Month by inviting U.S. African-American artist Storyboard P. Storyboard P, also named “the Basquiat of street dancing” offered a dance performance which complemented the exhibit of CA2M’s exhibit  “Elements of Vogue: a Case Study in Radical Performance”. His performance, which was attended by a very diverse audience and members of the local community, alternated between freestyle improvisation and storytelling, exploring the body as a source of empowerment and self-affirmation. The event was organized on the occasion of ARCOmadrid 2018, Madrid’s international contemporary art fair, whose curatorial program this year gravitated around the question of The Future.
