The American Space Madrid Opens its Academic Year

The American Space Madrid opened its academic year with activities for teenagers, children, and parents, including a series of robotics workshops in which the kids created remote control driven vehicles and other cool stuff. Younger kids participated on a reading roadmap of the building and listened to storybooks read aloud by volunteers. The Embassy spokesman, David Connell, read a moving story about a heartless robot that finally got a bluebird in lieu of his heart. The whole building was full of life with kids running up and down learning STEM and English while having fun.
